About Competitive Soccer

The FL Premier FC (FPFC) Competitive Program is designed for Boys and Girls ages U8-U19. The Competitive Program provides a positive environment for players who demonstrate the necessary talent, skill, commitment, good sportsmanship, and desire to continue to develop and compete at the highest levels.  It requires travel to local, regional, or out-of-state games and tournaments, for players and their families. Individual teams compete at various levels depending on the competitive needs of the players involved.

Competitive teams are formed in the spring of each year through open tryouts and evaluations. Players are accepted to their team from July 1 to June 30th the following year but are committed to a ten-month (10-month) playing season (1 August – 31 May).

Introducing our newest offering at Florida Premier FC: Pre-Competitive U7! Designed for boys and girls born in 2018 and 2019, this program is the perfect stepping stone for young players eager to explore soccer in a structured, yet nurturing environment.

With two weekly training sessions and an exciting 4v4 match each week, Pre-Competitive U7 strikes the ideal balance between skill development and game experience. It’s a more accessible option, bridging the gap between introductory programs like Happyfeet and the intensity of competitive U8 soccer.

Our focus is on individual player growth, ensuring that every participant hones their skills and builds confidence on the field. The curriculum, carefully crafted by our esteemed academy director Jeff Thwaites, guarantees a comprehensive learning experience tailored to each child’s needs.

Join us as we embark on this exciting journey of soccer discovery and development!

Our U8/U9/10 Academy program concentrates on developing ball skills and decision-making in the game while creating a fun and dynamic atmosphere for players. Teams play 7v7, allowing players to learn by playing while enjoying being part of a team.

Players practice 2X a week with a licensed coach and play in the CDL or USA leagues from November- April. Teams also participate in tournaments throughout the season.

This program is for players who want to continue to improve individual skills while being challenged in a team environment. Coaches focus on expanding player abilities, skills, and game aptitude while introducing team tactics. Teams play 9v9, adding mid-field play and the merging of technical, tactical, and psychological elements of the game. Ultimately, players are prepared for the advancement to 11v11.

Players practice 2-3x a week and participate in Pre-ECNL, NPL Dev, CDL, and other Competitive leagues, as well as several tournaments throughout the season.

The U13-19 program is meant for focused, highly motivated, and talented players who want to experience the personal growth and developmental benefits of high-level, specific, and professional coaching. Players are provided the opportunity to play against local, regional, and national competition with ability-level formed teams. Focus is on teaching skillful, possession, and attacking soccer. Coaches constantly push players in practice and games to achieve the next level of play.

Players practice 2-4X a week and participate in ECNL, ECNLR, NPL, FPL, CDL, and other Competitive leagues, as well as several tournaments/showcases each year.

About HappyFeet Soccer

The league program runs seasonally in the Fall, Winter, Spring and Summer. The HappyFeet League program length is 7 weeks long, taking place once per week.

This program is beneficial to those parents who have a hectic schedule but still want to have their child participate.  We leverage our age-appropriate curriculum to offer programs for children from ages 2-8 years old. We have found parents enjoy the league just as much as the kids do!

Each session begins with a mini-class skill introduction session and is then followed by a non-competitive soccer game.  The session structure and included components are offered for ages 2, 3 & 4, 5 & 6, and 7 & 8. Our curriculum maximizes skill development while ensuring all children are allowed to develop and excel at their own pace.
